Artist Bio
An Oregon Artist, Jeannie enjoys demonstrating her Etch A Sketch art with viewer-interactive compositions at nearby cafés, art festivals and street fairs. But it wasn’t until 2009 that she began showing her work publicly. Since then, the married grandmother of four exhibits in as many as 9 art shows per year, while still working full-time. She’s been Featured Artist in 10 galleries, to date, and her unique art has earned numerous awards, such as from the Ohio Art Company/Red Robin Restaurants national contest celebrating Etch A Sketch’s 50th Anniversary. Jeannie is considered one of the top Etch A Sketch artists in the World, and her stunning wildlife depictions (such as the 3-time award-winning “ZEBRA,” pictured below) prompted her nickname ‘Etch Huntress,’ also known in local circles as “The Etch A Sketch Lady.” Jeannie’s other loves are spending time with her family, volunteering with her church, singing – and (when she gets time near the water) fly-fishing.
